For a long time people have put professionals on a pedestal based on nothing more that a title and some credentials. Neither says anything about the kind of person they are. If a professional said a thing was thus and so, it was law and people have operated on professional opinions often to their great determent. Further it is impossible to work with someone else when you have them elevated to some lofty, out of reach position. It makes communicating with them extremely awkward and uncomfortable if not impossible. People who are on pedestals are very hard to get hold of.
I meant that it won be a BMW. It would basically just be another generic electric vehicle and there are plenty of them out there already. There are plenty of things to make them a BMW, from the style of the exterior, to the quality of the materials for the interior, the fit and finish, the performance, the software for the infotainment etc. It pretty wild to say they can make distinctively BMW ICE cars but EVs would somehow be bland and generic. WTF
The new officer is trained to take command and expects immediate obedience from a citizen, and a citizen has no rights at all during the situation. That’s what we saw in the Boston neighborhood as cops were searching for the Marathon bomber. People were ordered out of their homes by yelling and shoving officers, with no regard at all for their rights as American citizens. That would not have happened a few decades ago. I don’t think it should be happening today.
Sorry I rambled on there a bit. I really just confused about how we got to where we are now. How did we get to the point where no one is having these discussions? The damn boat is sinking and instead of plugging the hole and working on boat version 3.4, we arguing about the color of the fucking wood.
I had someone slam on their breaks the other day on a fast road, fully stopped, no cars coming, waiting for 2 or 3 minutes until they put their indicator on, then turned. I’m glad I plan ahead when driving and have good reactions to idiots. I could go on forever
Coherent Write in complete sentences that are clear about what you are trying to say.”Dikke BMW” would best translate to ass BMW a car of stature. In this case she mocking the idea that this uppity politician comes to their small town having no idea what it like to be a working class citizen.
To the best of my knowledge, I am no more of a jerk or sheep now that I have my dream car than I was when I was rocking cassette tapes in my beater. It’d be sort of stupid to assume any different about someone else just because of their car. Why not? Everyone does. It can be fun.
It irks me that I get pulled over for something like that while the cops break every traffic law in the books. For example, going the wrong way up a highway exit ramp, so they can get into position to chase speeders. Aren’t they worried that someone might be coming onto the ramp, and hit them head on?
The charger itself is a $400 $600 item. Some people cheapen this process by using a dryer outlet that already exists in the garage and a slower (lower amperage) L2 charger that plugs into it (for around $300), but that means somewhat slower charging than what the car is capable of.
My experience (and decision) was that if I was going to spend an afternoon underneath the car removing the actuator motor and taking it apart I did not want to risk the free fix failing at some point and having to do it all over again. I believe it’s well worth the $50 $100 to purchase a new gear and not worry about it for another 80k miles or more. Since the first writing of this article, replacement gears have actually gone from $100 down to $20 or less!BMW transfer case actuator motor disassembled (brand new black replacement gear pictured).
You in LA, in addition to the high monthly BMW lease payments, the $500 annual car registration fees, mandatory $2k/year full coverage car insurance, higher premium fuel usage at $5/gal, replacement runflat tires at $1500 a set, BMW $900 lease acquisition, $500 lease turn in fees, extra miles charges, and “outside the norm wear tear” costs at lease turn in will eat you alive.
Can I just roll on the throttle earlier? It going to be interesting to see how much I can improve in a short amount of time just being aware I driving a RWD and not a FWD!Going in for another training session! Thank you!Turned out, TC did a world of difference! I really thought I had remembered to turn that off before.Anyway, I saw an immediate improvement (after the 3 4 slower laps getting used to the handling).
According to news, Fed hiring freeze with new Trump admin is temporary so hopefully in a couple years when you ready and qualified to advance to a higher GS role, the hiring freeze would be over now. Plus I understand teacher income ramp up with seniority and increase in education. So your $90k gross is just starting point and will go even higher in future.
The 25 year old had already agreed to race at the Mexico ePrix his home event but announced Monday that he will drive for the new Chinese team.”I’m very grateful to join Techeetah, a team with real competitiveness,” Gutierrez said in a statement.Jose Maria Lopez: Formula E step forward, says triple WTCC champion”After four years of an incredible experience in F1, I’m now taking a step forward into the future of motorsports.”I am especially excited about my debut race at the Mexico City ePrix. Hopefully I can put on a good show for the passionate home fans.”Gutierrez replaces Chinese driver Ma Qing Hua, who has struggled to compete since making his debut for Techeetah at the Hong Kong ePrix last October.Vergne who raced for DS Virgin Racing last season has fared better, securing Techeetah’s first points at November’s Marrakech ePrix and its maiden podium with second place in Buenos Aires last month.Techeetah was formed when Chinese sports marketing and management company SECA took over Team Aguri, which pulled out of the series following its second season.
Our goal is to have only two vehicles, however we are trying to find something that meets our needs. DH (dear husband) drives 130 km to work one way, in the winter he usually stays near his work (he receives a generous travel and board allowance) but we live in an area with tons of snow we’ve had roads shut down multiple times, people ending up in the ditch including DH (dear husband) once this winter (he was driving the van with snow tires as his car was in the shop). So he really does need a AWD/4×4 in the winter. The issue is how much fuel these vehicles use, so DH (dear husband) really wants to get a BMW X3/5 diesel, but those cost more than we want to spend at this point.
The 5 series is a real drivers car and feeds road data better than the Benz of the same years. The Porsche is brilliant for parts delivery straight from the factory and are a delight to work on if you love fine German engineering.I have rebuilt a 911 carrera motor in the middle of the Northern Territory jungle.
I really feel they have a ton more grip than I do. Do I just suck even worse than I think I do?With about 70 hours in AC I would think I be able to at least get 3rd position in that damn race. The thing is, I hate driving street cars with no grip, like that damn BMW Z4.
Plus dispatching their drivers to SF is a stupid idea. Sure, you could say it’s faster, and with a higher talent level than F2, but the cars are also much harder to adapt to, there is less relevance to F1 (Push to pass vs DRS, different tyres, only sharing 1 circuit vs all F2 circuits).
Now since rational people realize you can have open borders. When people do come in undocumented. You have to hold them, process them then deport them to thier home country. Because they don have any documentation this can take time. Hence you need a place for them to live while they are processed.
For instance when I am in maps through a hot click from a notification in the music app, from the app POV I am still on the music screen which messes up the one click navigation from the buttons next to the controller. Hope that makes sense. Also the HUD display and controls don’t work with CarPlay.
Should I go for it or not?Maybe they have better colors in Abu Dhabi as they get a lot of those “Individual” colors by default but what a lot of people don realize is any car bought from BMW Abu Dhabi does not have the ConnectedDrive features so things like being able to control your car and locate it via the smartphone BMW Connected app doesn work, and live traffic feature doesn work that a big deal for me as the GPS will offer you an alternative faster route should it detect traffic congestion.
These things can be expected in an older vehicle. But come on, this car is barely five years old! And only three years old when I got it! And it’s German!! I now have new appreciation for every Ford product I ever owned or leased. I miss you Escort, Probe, Mercury Cougar, Mountaineer and yes, I even miss you, Taurus.
I would be concerned about keeping a nicer car safe being that your beater already got broken in to. I am a sucker for toys of the four wheeled variety, but maybe it would be better to just buy reliable transportation in cash right now and allocate your income 카지노사이트 to getting your down payment put together to get in to a house (assuming you’re going to continue to live in the area for a while)Car guy here. A civic is nearly as fast (if you not a car person you won notice the acceleration difference), handles better, and has way more luxury features than a 328i. The only two things the 328i has on a Civic is better ride quality and less road noise. If you actually looking for a car that is fun to drive, you can do much, much better for way less money. But seriously, another note on features, the BMW 3 series fully loaded has a serious lack of luxury features compared to all economy brands: Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, and Kia all have more and better features than 3 series BMWs.
Ferrari, unlike its competitor Porsche, has a problem selling cars in China, the world’s largest automotive market. Just 8% of the 9,251 Ferraris delivered worldwide in 2018 went to China. The largest market for Ferrari is Europe, where 45.7% of cars were delivered in 2018. The Americas accounted for 32.4% of Ferrari sales versus 7% for China last year.
As we had owned a Honda Civic that we got 210,000 mi. out of, and drove for free for 11 yrs., and after just purchasing another one for my wife, which she loves, I felt that I had to investigate the Fit, and compare it to other, similar types of vehicles.
But is it accurate to just make the blanket statement that “there are no EVs for car guys”? Nah. Car guys can be found driving almost anything. RWD BMWs made out of CF. Teslas running with Alfa Qs and M3s even on road courses. Chevy Spark with 400ftlb of torque that you could lease for like $100 or buy for like $9k now?
To make that happen, to create a timeless machine for fast moving times, BMW has simplified its design language, with economy of line and sculpture. That means, when you look at this new Concept 8 Series, that you see sharpness and precision, and a startling sleekness through the way the design team has achieved light and shadow on the car’s exterior. If you look closely enough, you can even see the future.
Has anyone encountered this problem? Both the Chicco and Headwise are relatively compact seats, but would possibly changing out the Graco for an even skinnier Diono Radian or Safety First guide 65 perhaps solve the problem? As well as switching up seat location or installation method (moving one to middle of a smaller seat works, changing up seatbelt vs. latch etc)?
Just like having the engine running on a ICE car. So if the 12 battery is too dead to fire up the controllers the HV battery can be energized and therefore can be charged either. So the battery is likely not dead enough to have the car be completely dead (no door locks no nothing) but too dead to pull in the line contactor for the HV battery.
Starting off this list is the first of two BMWs the best version of the Z4. Gone is the convertible and coupe option all Z4s from this generation have retractable hardtops. Despite the upped power from the 3.0L I6, the Z4 isn’t a purist driver’s car by any stretch of the imagination. The car has softer handling than some of its competitors, which makes it more of a weekend cruiser than a hardcore sports car. According to Car and Driver, the Z4 smoothly delivers its power and has a comfortable ride, but its steering and suspension don’t inspire confidence in the driver at the limit which means it fails to achieve the mission of a true sports car. However, if you are looking for a quick roadster for Sunday afternoon cruises, it’ll deliver great acceleration, a comfortable ride, and a sporty exhaust note.
From 1990 1993, Acura sold the second generation Integra, perhaps the most popular among enthusiasts. You’ll want to find one with the 1.8 L engine producing 130 hp or the top level GS R Integra which was first introduced in 1992. Featuring Honda’s VTEC (Variable valve Timing and lift Electronic Control), the GS R’s engine produced160 hp and proved to be a favorite for tuners and enthusiast drivers alike.
The thing about PHEVs though is that they are mostly a cheap way for manufacturers to get around emission standards by being able to leave the ICE off for a good part of the test cycle, as well as making their cars useable in EV only zones (in some european cities).
Also, 50% utilization on a CC isn helping your credit score (credit utilization is factored into your score, even if you paying it off every month). A civic is nearly as fast (if you not a car person you won notice the acceleration difference), handles better, and has way more luxury features than a 328i
Sorry again for the ranty initial comment there and thanks for the quick reply. I think my career choice is partially to blame precision torque specs and other adjustment/alignment values have been drilled into my head for a long time. While I get the idea of monkey tight not gorilla tight, I a mechanic by trade so generally have pretty high hand strength and my idea of something being monkey tight could be someone else idea of gorilla tight just ask my wife about that when it comes to jar or drink bottle lids lol.
