You know how to pass the slower GT3s because you have experience driving one, meaning you can predict and anticipate what they going to do at a certain moment etc. The races are also 3x the length and include a pitstop, and the guys racing the GTE cars are crazy fast no lie, they some of the best drivers on iRacing IMO.The GTE cars are also a lot, lot harder to drive.
A note on the seats: they are some of the finest seats in all of automobiledom! From a comfort point of view there is zero reason to have any concerns, they are better than the Mercedes/BMW/Audi/VW/Infiniti seats in various cars I owned. I would tend to disagree while they don set lap times that are that much quicker than a GT3, they much harder to drive faster/better than a GT3. The GT3s are much more forgiving. I was in an IMSA race a week or two ago driving a GT3 and had to contend with GTE drivers who were slower than me in the corners, but (a little) faster on the straights, meaning they try and pass me in the corners, wouldn succeed, get bad exits from the corners then try again on the straight, get alongside me, try and pass, etc etc.

A result with a bad cap is water heats more quickly and its counterpart steam occurs at a lower temperature. Usually it will spill over into the coolant reservoir tank. When it is steam it simply dissipates making detection more difficult. At times the coolant reservoir will be a dingy dirty look like there was muddy water present if the radiator is afoul from lack of maintenance.

What I saw from my numbers was that the Tesla does cost less to operate. But when I consider the additional up front costs and added insurance, it not quite competitive with Civics (or Accords) yet. Especially compared to the hybrids and/or if one doesn drive a lot. Of course, with different energy prices, different driving rates, etc, things change.

You get cheap commuting/errand driving within your electric range. You get the same go anywhere fuel anywhere road trip capability. Cost splits the difference between EV and ICE, but you still get a fairly large tax credit. Also, you can make 5 PHEVs with the batteries it would take to make 1 BEV, which is noteworthy in the face of no reprieve in sight to the limited supply of raw materials, as well as limited supply of manufacturing capacity (this is mostly a human issue not enough trained professionals. not readily solved by just “build more factories.”).

There is a lot of discussion in various forums about how this gear does not ever seem to turn all the way around and you can fix it by simply rotating the gear to the unused portion (a potential free fix). I cannot speak to whether that is a reliable long term fix since I did not try that. You can see from my photos however, that it indeed does not look like one side of the gear that still has the light green lubricant on it was ever touched or used by the worm gear,so take that for whatever it’s worth.

I really didn think it felt like a RWD since I didn feel any sign of losing the rear end under power, only under braking (and thought I read something about “taking advantage of the FWD”, but that must have been the last car I drove, lol). I think I need to downshift later as well, too aggressive downshifting wont help with the rear in a RWD.Ok, straight line braking it is! Turbo lag is a problem I think, I don have a clutch pedal (yet).
Another comment you mention a cheap series define cheap. You may find some local ish oval tracks that offer an inexpensive 4 cylinder or V8 class, which is some of the only racing aside from karting I can think of where you can run a whole season for under $10k. Knowing what kind of budget you dealing with will be helpful. There is a huge difference between what you can run with a budget of $1k or $10k or $100k.
