Classic carsJump to Last Post 1 9 of 9 discussions (18 posts)I happen to be a guy that has spent his life enjoying classic cars. My desire started at the tender age of 12 with a 1937 Chevy pickup. You see in the state of Montana you can get a drivers license at the age of 12 for daylight hours to drive to school if there are not any school buses.

You can use the BMW for so many different things. You can drive it to work. You can drive it to get food. And best of all, you can have it sit in front of your house so that everyone in the street knows that you Martin Caton have a BMW and are a WINNER!

So why does it make sense? Well it is open, and non distracting. Perfect for when autopilot is driving you. The screen is odd at first (i actually disliked it) but now. everything else feels cluttered. Their designers knew what i wanted before i did imo. It will grow on you. Plus the materials i love the vegan leather so soft and a great feel, better than real leather in durability, maintenance, cleaning, look and touch.

In England, BMW is building the Mini, the Rolls Royce as well as body parts and engines for BMW cars. Conversely, many Mini and Rolls Royce components are supplied from the EU. For Mini, the United Kingdom is by far the largest market. Last year, the BMW Group sold almost every tenth car on the island 238,000 vehicles.

Do not get me wrong, on two occasions as a youth I was whooped upon and jailed and then released without charges as a youth. I was known, due to sports, but I also wrote and distributed an underground newspaper with forbidden information back then clean needles, contraceptives, petitions for all kinds of things, family planning, locations for anti war demonstrations. And I wore my hair pretty wild for a backwater town.

And yes to what pp said about maintaining! My dh (dear husband) works on cars and said we will never get one. Tires are expensive, oil changes are $150. I had a tiny bump with one in a parking lot (seriously just a scratch, no dent) and their dealer charged $750! The scratch on my dodge rubbed right off. I thought they were scammers, but my insurance said just painting a 2017 bmw bumper costs that. Kind of impractical for an icy environment. I guess if you have money to blow. but then why is he worrying about gas mileage costs in that case.

My daughter was taught by her friends on such occasions, so we figured we would show jamie ourselves how to drive. that way he is taught right.people out here in the country are too trusting and a lot still leave their keys in the car and house unlocked.Polly Cposted 7 years ago”where i live the kids are known for sneaking around taking people cars out of their driveway and returnin them before anyone wakes up.” that sort of thing doesn’t happen round here so I would never have to worry about it.

I test drove an Audi TT model that was identical to the one I eventually purchased, but in a different color. Like most test drives, this one took about 20 minutes and we drove around the streets closest to the car dealership. I remember thinking about how fun it was and didn’t notice any possible short comings in the car. I had also completed extensive internet research and the consensus of TT owners was “I love my car!”.

With AGMC, all these quirks work perfectly AND a lot of times the discounts AGMC offer end up making the car cheaper than the Abu Dhabi BMW Variant. When you start complaining to the salesman about the lack of ConnectedDrive features in their stock. They always try to steer you away from the topic by telling you that their cars have 8 years warranty vs 5 years form AGMC.

If premium is recommended but not required then you can run whatever makes sense to you. With premium, the engine will make a little more power and get slightly better MPGs but it might still be more economical to run regular because of the difference in price if you don mind losing a few HP/TQ.

My 3.5 year old is in a Roundabout, just about to outgrow it (he is just under 40 pounds and 40 inches, 15 inch torso). 18 month old is in a Comfortsport RF (rear facing) with about 3 inches(approx) left of shell above his head (24 pounds, 34 inches, 12.5 inch torso). The infant seat I have is a Peg Perego sip 22 pound limit. We just sold my Miitsubishi Endeavor today, and my husbands current car is a Ford Excursion so room is not a problem. I will most likely start driving the Excursion town with the kids he will get a smaller car (possibly a BMW or similar size) to commute to work. However we would still like the option of drviing in the car with the 3 kids if possible. Plan on having to buy a few new carseats either way. I was looking at a Frontier for my older child for the Excursion, and was going to buy him a Radian for my Endeavor but now we sold that car.

Low grade plastics on the dash and doors, cheap vinyl seats that don breath, hollow and chintzy window switches and steering wheel stalks, etc. All the ones I driven and ridden in have also rattled. The Model 3 would be fine for $25k car, but there is nothing remotely luxurious about it.

The second system is the mechanical standard. This is a rigid and comprehensive system that is unique to Germany, for reasons I can only ascribe to their culture. Germans simply require excellence in all things mechanical. Before you can register any vehicle (and this applies to registration renewals too), you will need to acquire a ‘Hauptuntersuchung’ (abbreviated to ‘HU’) certificate. This system is overseen by the Technischer berwachungs Verein (TV), a body that exists solely for this purpose. Obtaining the certificate involves a comprehensive safety check of the vehicle by a certified mechanic, covering everything operational on the car. This includes glass, wheels, engine, brakes, lights, chassis and more. The good news is that if a seller can provide you with this certificate, the car should be in reasonable mechanical condition. The bad news is that it almost always uncovers work that needs to be done before the car can be registered. It may sound draconian, but I actually find merit in this system because it maintains a safer road environment. On a peculiar note, you can find the same certification in elevators too. That random fact should give some comfort to those readers who have a fear of elevators descending faster than the speed of an ex pat on the autobahn.

However, before you set your sights on imported RTA cabinets, it’s important to realize what you are getting. Among brands, there are several different construction methods, vast differences in finish and wood quality, and overall selection. While you might save some money, you may also find that the sacrifices you need to make may not be worth it.

Anyway, I not trying to preach to you, because I don know anything about you. I just wanted to share my perspective. Probably because I horribly depressed so I understand on some level. Just don be fooled into believing that killing yourself is only going to affect you. It won You be driving a dagger straight into her soul.

Madonna also filed for divorce from Ritchie in 12/08, although she did adopt another child from Malawi, Mercy James. She also performed in the Hope for Haiti Earthquake Relief Concert in 1/10 to help assist those in need. Madonna performed at the Super Bowl XLVI Halftime Show in 2012, and did an excellent version of “Like a Prayer”, with backup choirs. Her popularity is attributed to the numerous turning points in her own life and the way she has been so honest about them. Madonna’s upbeat dance music is liked by many audiences.

There are those among us who shine, there is no question of that and their wins should be celebrated. But, rather than being blinded into idolizing them, why not instead hold them as models of what we are individually and collectively capable of becoming?”You’re not anyone in America unless you’re on TV.”

The following morning is spent perfecting each driver’s seating position (a vital detail which, if incorrect, can dramatically hamper progress) and learning the various steering techniques that might need to be employed in order to tackle the Nordschleife’s many and varied technicalities. After that, it’s time to undertake your first laps. These happen behind a pace car, which enables fledglings to follow the correct lines at the correct speed and therefore remain, literally, “on track”.

I don know, that why I asking. But lets see, for NAV, it needs your position. OK, the GPS chip could be in there. Your speed might be nice. What would be easier, polling GPS satellites and getting their estimation? Or getting it from the engine computer? Some high end cars play fake engine sounds inside the car so the driver feels more satisfied by the sound of their engine. So, that another case of the engine talking to the soundsystem, which this unit, by virtue of it being the controller of your stereo, is getting feedback from the engine. And, some of those dvd players also get feedback from the engine computers, so they can black out the screen when the cars moving. Unless you think they polling GPS instead? So yeah. pretty sure that Dash Nav systems are talking to the rest of the car, either directly, or at least talking to a component that also talks to the engine.

Dealership 3 Even though I was upset, I was close to another dealership. I made the short drive to that one. The salesman was very nice; I was able to find the car I wanted, and I purchased it that day. It was a great experience, it was just a shame that it took three attempts to find a good dealership.

If some snooty eff wads want to be pricks, let them. You know how hard it is, you know there are more people needing help than anyone could comprehend. We have to be strong, if not for ourselves and our families, than for those who have no one to be strong for them.

Blancpain GT World Challenge without a doubt the biggest competition for GT3 racers. This series includes several regional sprint based championships (America, Europe and Asia), as well as the Blancpain Endurance Championship, which features 5 long distance races on European tracks, including the Spa 24 hours (27 28 July), which is without a doubt one of the jewels in the crown of GT racing. All races are livestreamed through YouTube.

In terms of accidents, you right, that what insurance is for. My insurance company charges less for a Civic than a Model 3. IIRC it a 20%+ difference with the 3 being more expensive. The risk with insurance is if you get into a small “fender bender” in the 3. If it ends up taking 6 10 weeks to fix, as many have found, your insurance company may only provide a loaner for the first 4 weeks. If you need the 3 for work, that a major problem. Renting a car for weeks is massively expensive. Of course there the argument that you less likely to die in a 3, and that death is worse, but I say all of this to say that small collision that are normally a non issue become a real risk. I haven attempted to quantify the risk.

But there was still more to this Cup of extremes. When the teams’ two boats appeared on the water the sailing public drew breath. Two of the biggest, most advanced multihulls that the sailing world had ever seen suddenly changed the mood among Cup followers. At last, the conversation switched from the frustration of complex court hearings, to that of the prospect of a spectacular battle of two behemoths on the water.

That puts my payment around $200 bucks a month. i currently pay 130 a month for insurance and this would go up to about 200 a month if i got the BMW. So i would go from $350 monthly vehicle expense to about 500. To me it is worth the extra 150 a month.

What possible really depends on your personal situation. Even so. I wouldn personally buy a 2015 2016 BEV if I frequently did drives longer than 30 miles one way.The i3 BEV is a perfect commuter. If you anything like me, you end up driving it every damn chance you can (even beyond the commuting).

But the reality is that a lot of those PHEVs from BMWs and other tend to have ridiculously short EV range (25km and less), and I be willing to bet that many people buying them don even bother charging them. And their EV mode will typically be under 100hp so you have to drive like an old granny and never get on the highway to remain in BEV mode.

All RTA Cabinets Are Not Created EqualReady to assemble cabinets are a great way to save money on your next kitchen or bath remodel. They offer value, quick turn around time, and rich features that can rival what you might find in a semi custom line that costs twice as much.

Cheap SupercarsOkay, let’s make one thing clear there probably isn’t anything called a ‘cheap’ Supercar. In America, any new mid engined Ferrari 458 Italia or a Lamborghini Gallardo would still retail for over USD 300,000.00 (or over half a mil in Australia, thanks to our taxes!). In other words, buying even a small supercar can be the same spending that amount of money on an average priced house.

BMWs in general are expensive to maintain due to parts cost and increased hourly rates since the cars are priced higher than average to begin with. If you want a diesel car you either get an MB, BMW, Jaguar, or Chevy Cobalt. Only the Chevy Cobalt will be cheap to maintain, but finding a quality mechanic to maintain the diesel in the Chevy may prove difficult.

Should You Buy a TT?If you are looking for a fun, powerful, stylish sports coupe that is also good in the snow, the all wheel drive TT is your best bet in this 바카라사이트 price range. Its sister cars the Infiniti G35 or the Nissan Z, both have rear wheel drive.

Is your 5y and 2.5y rearfacing or forward facing? I wouldn’t buy a radian for a ff child. I would buy a combination seat. There are a few narrow combination seats that will last you years longer then the radian. The radian is great for extended rf for heavier kids and okay for ff harness. But the harness and the booster are outgrown at about the same time and the booster has a 50 minimum so she might never weigh enough to fit in the booster mode.

Should you have further questions or need additional information, you may reply directly to this e mail. Not to the optimal levels like you would doing a precondition but there is some residual warming. So my point was, if you are plugged in, and start conditioning for say 30 min, when you unplug the battery will be in a better state and range than if you simply took off cold. That has been my experience anyway, simple climatizing while plugged in helps your range vs cold startsWe had pretty bad wintery weather here for a week or two, so I parked my i3 and left it plugged in for that time I drove my other vehicle which is more suited to deep snow. I had also turned off all my scheduled departure times so as to not waste power warming the car up when I wasn’t going to drive it.

With the Defender, you should be able to fit your CA 65 and Snugride with little trouble. Use seatbelts on all the seats to give the maximum about of room on the vehicle bench. IF they don’t fit together, then you’ll need a Radian to replace the CA. But of course try those 3 seats together with seatbelt installs before you go the Radian route.

1) Kamala Harris. She showed off she can easily win fights for her positions against the old guard. She sharp, smart, and suave and didn take any positions that would anchor her but still had more than enough concrete solution proposals across a wide variety of issues and was able to communicate them well. I think her biggest weak point is her checkered history as CA AG, but I think she more than well showed that she can defend her points.

Honorable MentionVolkswagen GTI: The ultimate hot hatchback, this sporty version of the Golf barely missed the top five. The main thing holding it back is the higher maintenance cost of German vehicles. With solid turbocharged I4 and V6 engines, the GTI is truly a fantastic combination of hatchback practicality and light your hair on fire performance.

The first Mitsubishi Eclipse was sold in 1990, but, like the Celica, the most appealing Eclipse models will be the second through fourth generations (1995 2012). Obvious benefits of these later generations are that they will be newer and carry fewer miles, but another factor to consider is the major styling upgrades that separated the later generations from the first.

If you have read my other DIY’s you know I’m all about saving money, and 02 sensors are not cheap. For a “narrowband” oxygen sensor I have no idea what that means, so don’t ask the price ranges from $70 $200 depending what you buy and where you buy it from. Add on another $150 if you’re having the dealership change it for you. Sorry, but even $70 is too much for me, for a sensor.

Later if you must get an prestigious badged car (It arguable in SoCal if any of the big 3 german brands can be viewed as prestigious short of the $150k+ semi exotics), go buy an 3 year old CPO BMW for 50% of MSRP while still having 2 3 more years of CPO warranty coverage.

I bought the Peugeot because it was within my price range and is a soft top. Since I cannot afford to buy a bike and all the paraphernalia that goes with it at this time, I figured that a convertible would at least give me some of the fun factor back.

:)Also. there are edge cases where the BEV version can do “more”. If you got available and reliable L2 charging at work, for example, you could easily extend your commute range. If you live in a big city or region with a nice DC fast charge network, you can pretty easily use the car for cross city or city to city journeys, using fast charging to top you off (a 10 20 minute top off on a DC fast charger gets you quite a bit of extra range).

The Jaguar XK R is the second most powerful car on this list with over 500 raging horses under the hood; it looks fantastic and has a supercharger. So why is it so far down on this list? Weight. Despite having twice the engine displacement and 150 extra horsepower, the XK R is 16 seconds behind the TT RS, the next slowest car on the list, around the Nrburgring. Sixteen seconds! What this goes to show is that, like the Z4, the XK R is probably more comfortable going on a spirited weekend drive around the countryside than it is on a racetrack. While this certainly isn’t a bad thing there is definitely a market for GT cars such as this the relaxed driving style of the XK R isn’t going to be enough to get it higher on the list. Although it’s slower to 60 than others on this list, it’ll still plant you into the back of the leather seats when you put the automatic transmission into Dynamic Mode and floor it.

Gas Trips The money spent at gas stations. This includes gas expenses, air freshners, filling air. Now, these expenses are hard to track and I used mint to pull the information. The money spent at gas station might have been spent on chips and gum as well, and there is no way for me to know now. And so while the gas trip number may not be exact, but it is pretty close. I always use Premium 93 grade.

I’d avoid the AD dealership at all costs, cars might have longer warranty and service contracts / more options but service is garbage; they will up sell you random stuff and not take responsibility for their own mistakes. I own a BMW in Abu Dhabi fwiw and trust me with these high performance cars, you’ll want that extended warranty and service contract. PM me if you have any other questions.

On the used market electric cars are a steal for the same reason to. A new gen leaf will be a top contender for me if the prices fall dramatically when lease turn ins flood the market. You get cheap commuting/errand driving within your electric range. You get the same go anywhere fuel anywhere road trip capability. Cost splits the difference between EV and ICE, but you still get a fairly large tax credit. Also, you can make 5 PHEVs with the batteries it would take to make 1 BEV, which is noteworthy in the face of no reprieve in sight to the limited supply of raw materials, as well as limited supply of manufacturing capacity (this is mostly a human issue not enough trained professionals. not readily solved by just “build more factories.”).

Squeaky BrakesI learned after I had the car for six months, that squeaky brakes are considered normal for the TT. I had brought the car in for some normal maintenance and asked them to check my brakes. I noticed that almost every time I braked, especially in colder weather, I heard a loud squeak.

And it certainly a “live a little” situation. As for you, you might want to first invest in more appreciating, revenue generating assets if you can (such as rental property in the right area). Buy the car next year when the same car is only 30k and 온라인카지노 you already making money from your second rental.

To make that happen, to create a timeless machine for fast moving times, BMW has simplified its design language, with economy of line and sculpture. That means, when you look at this new Concept 8 Series, that you see sharpness and precision, and a startling sleekness through the way the design team has achieved light and shadow on the car’s exterior. If you look closely enough, you can even see the future.

But is it accurate to just make the blanket statement that “there are no EVs for car guys”? Nah. Car guys can be found driving almost anything. RWD BMWs made out of CF. Teslas running with Alfa Qs and M3s even on road courses. Chevy Spark with 400ftlb of torque that you could lease for like $100 or buy for like $9k now?

So is that worth it to you? There no right answer to that; it fine if that is worth it to you. But that how you have to look at it. Saying this would be more reliable than my Ranger (which you not doing) is just denialism. It not real. You could rebuild the damn Ranger from scratch for less than what you lose on the BMW. If you do it I would suggest paying it off as quickly as possible. Definitely do pursue the credit union route and try to get a better rate, possibly with a shorter term.

When Jung was 38, he experienced what he called “a confrontation with the unconscious.” He began hearing voices and seeing visions. He began writing all this down in a little red book, but never left instructions as to what should be done with this book. His family finally put it in a vault, but people begged them to publish it after Jung’s death. Finally, Jung’s grandson, who handles his affairs, decided to publish it, in October of 2009. A reviewer of the New York Times said it was, “bombastic, baroque, and like so much of Carl Jung, a willful oddity, synced with an antediluvian and mystical reality.”

In order to place another above us, we have to consider ourselves as beneath them. While you may respect them or think them worthy of such esteem, in actual fact you are setting your relationship with them up for failure. We hold people that we put on pedestals to a higher standard than we hold ourselves or others. We see them as more than and better than and while this may be true, it is only true in certain areas of their lives and specific arenas that they operate in. In other areas of their lives they have their shortcomings and when you have someone on a pedestal your tendency is to focus only on your own. This has a negative impact on your own sense of self worth and self esteem. You overlook your own attributes, skills and abilities in favour of the other. You cannot effectively work with the other when you are holding yourself back.

In regards to REx, everything will effect range: temperature, speed, number of passengers, interior cabin heat/cool, wind direction, most recent driving efficiency. I can depart for IU (55 miles one way) with a full battery charge showing 95 miles (and the REx usually slightly under this for another 85 miles) and arrive at the destination with battery at 10 miles at >56 mph) when it starts at 6% charge. To solve for this, you have to slow down. On most interstates with posted 70 mph, its not safe to be driving 55. My approach has become to assume that the estimated battery mileage will drop considerably over the trip, by 50%, and so the best plan is to finder a public charger at the turn around point. You can run the REx through its 2 gals, refuel and get another 30 miles, but again this needs to be at much less than 70 mph. When you get home, the REx will be screaming at you, hot, fans blowing.

I gotten lenses from eBay, KEH and local pawnshops and have had good luck. KEH is probably the most painless everything I gotten from them has been better than expected. eBay is a bit of a crapshoot since it more or less impossible to evaluate a lens based on a few pics you gotta dig through a ton of feedback and at some point, just hope for the best. At least at the pawnshop you can put your hands on the lens and test it out but selection is limited.

Since you know you have $15k of negative equity already, lawyering up and throwing good money after bad by futilely disputing your signed and likely ironclad BMW Financial lease contract or worse considering rolling your massive negative equity into a new $60 80k rapidly depreciating luxury car (530e) lease will just make your financial problems worse.

Really hoping for any advice on my current car leasing situation. 3 years ago my boyfriend started a lease on a BMW 4 series for $425/mo. After a year and half had passed, I was interested in also leasing a 4 series. I found one I liked and we negotiated the price down to $400 a month. At the time I was financing another vehicle and was cosigned on my boyfriends lease. Because the new BMW would be a third car under my name they had to get creative. I offered to have my parents cosign but they said they found another solution as my parents were out of state. They decided to basically do a “payoff” of my boyfriends remaining lease payments and add it to mine so that we would only have one BMW under each of our names. This made our payment around $825/mo for the combined payments. We signed the deal and were on our way. The following day we wondered what would happen when my boyfriend’s lease term ended. We called and I can’t quite remember exactly, but it was something along the lines of the payment would fall off or we would trade both cars in and begin new leases.

Having said all this, the best feature of connected drive is that sometimes its able to pull locations from google and take you there; so you don need to have every business listed in the car directory. Oh and street view. It will show you street view of the destination before you get there ;)This. Even the same car you can get 30 50K off for 6 12 months used.

Cool. Gently lifted will mean different things to different people why not include one of these scales and specify “10 lbs” or “5.5 lbs” when measured at a specific spot (“Belt tension should measure between 3.2 and 3.5 lbs when measured at the center of the rail”)? This would massively improve the assembly experience, repeatability, and future adjustments (Oh, my belt tension is only 2 lbs, better tighten that up/replace the belt).

These things can be expected in an older vehicle. But come on, this car is barely five years old! And only three years old when I got it! And it’s German!! I now have new appreciation for every Ford product I ever owned or leased. I miss you Escort, Probe, Mercury Cougar, Mountaineer and yes, I even miss you, Taurus.

Usually there is a weep hole on the bottom of the water pump when the bearing starts wearing out, it breaks a seal and anti freeze will drip from directly from the front of an engine. you do not mention year make or model or mileage of your vehicle, loosen the radiator cap just enough to keep pressure from building up, and keep the overflow topped off and check the radiator when it is cold to be sure there is enough coolant, this may buy you some time, but you need to get under the truck and find out where it is coming from. Bridging the GT only and LMP/GT series is the fan favourite Japanese Super GT series. Super GT features the aforementioned GT3 category (known as GT300), with some custom cars thrown in the mix, such as the infamous Toyota Prius Racer. Super GT also has the draw of GT500, spec chassis prototype GT cars with turbocharged 4 cylinder engines. They are very fast and very exciting to watch, and feature cars from Nissan, Honda and Toyota/Lexus.

Obviously, the Odyssey is the best choice but as a “car person” that enjoys driving, I would miss driving the BMW. So, how likely is it that the tiny third row seats in the X5 would work for car seats? Does anyone have experience or can share some insight into making it work.

You in LA, in addition to the high monthly BMW lease payments, the $500 annual car registration fees, mandatory $2k/year full coverage car insurance, higher premium fuel usage at $5/gal, replacement runflat tires at $1500 a set, BMW $900 lease acquisition, $500 lease turn in fees, extra miles charges, and “outside the norm wear tear” costs at lease turn in will eat you alive.

It an internal lithium ion fire. calling the fire dept in this case would be the equivalent of a black man calling the police for help while being robbed by a white guy. BEST case scenario they maybe don shoot your dog; I be lucky if fire department didn use any water and burn down my whole fucking house.

This is true of all cars, even Hondas of that era (specifically the Accord Traction Control pump). Things like that are NCT fails too.Do you know a good independent mechanic? If not, find one.For 2k, an E90 will have interstellar mileage at this point too.Ask about the Swirl flaps and if they have been replaced.

The Audi TT coupe does not have enough driver leg support. I am 5′ 7″ and had gotten used to very comfortable bucket seats in the Infiniti G35. The TT seats are shorter and do not extend far enough forward to provide the appropriate level of thigh support. I’ve tried adjusting the seat in every possible position to no avail. I also spent hours Googling to see if I could find seat extenders that would work with the TT and could not find any.

November 23 2017EmailTwitterPinterestFacebookMartina Starke is happy. She has created beauty. “A great car has to look beautiful on the road,” she says. BMW’s head of brand vision and brand design has led the team behind the concept car for the new BMW Concept 8 Series a car that displays its lineage, and is at the same time boldly new. What it evinces most spectacularly is how to make a machine that has dynamism, while achieving a sumptuous degree of luxury and style. “The dynamic look comes from the form language,” she says. “You want a car that speaks to you directly when you see it for the first time.”

“stomping on a mans head with his boots as hard as he could” (bolding added). In addition, you have now indicated that there was more than one stomp; seems to me that multiple “full force” stomps will almost certainly break a neck. Not necessarily so with and easy kick or even a hard one, but “full force” multiple kicks? Do you retract the bolded part or do you offer your tests taken to substantiate the claim as true?

The public had also become disenchanted with an event that had become more of an arms race than a yacht race, and the legal bickering had scared off many potential commercial partners. And to sum up just how bitter and twisted the America’s Cup had become, allegations surfaced that a representative of Alinghi’s yacht club had tried to put pressure on the principal race officer to prevent the start of the second race by refusing to operate the starting signals.

I chime in here because I have extensive experience with both. The M235/240 has a superior powertrain. It smoother, less peaky, and revs more freely. Body control is also superior on the BMW through the corners, but it does ride harsher than the Benz due to the short wheelbase. The Benz has a hugely superior EPS system and turns in sharper, making it feel like a more aggressive car. The BMW is a lot more playful in the corner, though, where the Benz can be overly neutral.

I drove a 991.2 911 before I bought the Evora. It was a very capable car that was completely soulless and uninspiring. Never been more disappointed after driving a car because of how high my expectations were for it. I am pretty positive that I don want any modern Porsche that is not a GT car (which I have ridden in on track and they are amazing). The Evora, on the other hand, feels special every time I get in it. It looks exotic, Lotus even managed to make it sound exotic, and you feel completely connected to the road when you drive it. The steering feedback and directness is unmatched, the shifter assembly is so percise and tactile, the ride is compliant with very little body roll, and that Toyota V6 sounds like it came from Italy. It not a numbers car for magazines. It simply an exceptional driver car. It still makes me smile everything I drive it.

Instead, the real money can be made with Ferraris that have a racing heritage. Bonhams sold a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO in 2014 for $38.1 million, which set a new world auction record at the time. That was broken four years later, when RM Sotheby’s found a buyer willing to drop $48.4 million for one. A third 250 GTO exchanged hands for $70 million in a private sale.

Last week the weather was nice so I tried to send the departure times to the car using the Connected app on my iPhone, and it failed. I did manage to get the climatize feature to work once, from the old i Remote app, but it also has failed every time I tried to send the departure times to the car.

If the project is an investment property, a secondary kitchen or bath, or perhaps for a house you know you’ll be selling soon, the imported RTA cabinets are a great buy. They offer sound value and great window dressing. I am a custom cabinet maker and finisher and what blows me away with JSI cabinets is the finish. They use sherwin williams conversion varnish finishes. SAME AS CUSTOM SHOPS! I recently found out that JSI sells spray cans of matching finishes and can provide the sherwin williams color codes (either walcraft or rtawoodcabinets can get those for you). That is a big deal. So many China cabs are coated with who knows what. Sherwin conversion varnish (MUCH better than lacquer which is on most china cabinets) SOLD! As Sam said, JSI does sell assembled cabinets as well sio you do not have to deal with the assembly. We are only using JSI in our homes now. Hands down the best import cabinet on the market imo.18 months ago

Break ins happen, and I willing to bet your Ranger was hit instead of those BMW or MB because they knew the truck likely didn have an alarm and because of the aftermarket radio (I sure the BMW will have a pricey radio module, but people aren buying stolen 2016 BMW parts on craigslist unlike generic headunits).

If you have both of these symptoms then the culprit is very likely to be a stripped gear inside the transfer case motor. The transfer case actuator motor is a small motor that is bolted on to the transfer case and can be removed and replaced (or repaired with a new internal gear).

While the other may have attributes and abilities that you aspire to have or wish you had, your putting them on a pedestal continually keeps these same attributes and abilities out of your reach. You have given your power over to the person on a pedestal. Often groups of people will elevate another to pedestal power and this is how cults come into being. Whether the person has been placed there by the false precepts of others or demanded to be put their by some false delusions of their own, nobody belongs on a pedestal at least nobody who is alive. Even then some of mankind’s great icons have had extreme personality flaws and areas of their lives in which they were barely functioning.

As for make/model recommendations, it’s really such a broad category. Look up safety ratings for cars in your price range. To plan ahead for the future, look for a car that has 2 sets of LATCH anchors you’re going to need a top tether anchor for each forward facing car seat, so you need 2 for twins.

Since 2003, Alpinas have been put together on specialproduction lines at BMW’s Munich, Dingolfing and Regensburg plants in Germany and its Spartanburg factory in the US, with every model being sent to Alpina’s headquarters in Buchloe for the finishing touches to be applied. Around 250 employees work at the Buchloe HQ where Alpina has been based since 1970 and it is from there that the Alpina components are shipped to the BMW assembly lines. It is at Buchloe, too, that modelling and prototyping are carried out, engine and gearbox upgrades are designed, specialised parts are made and the in house saddlery workshop produces the cars’ superb hand stitched interiors usingflawless Lavalina leathers.

You can buy this in multiple stages, from a base kit up to fully built, and the prices range. Most people recommend having about $100,000 to build a decent one, although it can get more expensive if you want 500bhp and really good breaks. No matter what you prefer, or can get cheap, you have to put a Ford engine in the back. It’s just wrong not to!

But bfakn.club there was that word that got it all done for me. Deserve. It was the one word that I was trying to get at all along. It just never made it past my tongue, and certainly never made it past my keyboard and onto the screen in any of my hubs. In reality, looking back, I kind of feel like an idiot actually. God, it’s so simple. And I didn’t think of it. Carolina Muscle did. Another hubber. Not me. In a word he got it done. In a word he had summed up everything I had been trying to get across. After I read it, I thought with some exaggeration of course that I had quite literally found the Holy Grail in all of Its glory.

Used” front luxury cars depreciate way more steeply than most. You might want to investigate that a little before buying new. If you like me you could never have enough money to be happy wasting it.Can I ask why you considering the car if you can wrap your mind around it? I love cars too so no typical /r/pf judgment, but if you coming from something like a Corolla why not something in the middle? A $30K Mustang V 8 or even the Ecoboost, a recent $15K used Miata, hell, even a used BMW 340i or the prior gen 335i? Plenty of fun to be had without needing to buy an M3 rocketship that will empty your wallet every time you need a repair.Personally I think you can afford it but if you feeling hesitance already, why not save yourself ten grand, thirty grand, etc.

7. Caterham Super 7 R400Caterham is known around the world for their Lotus 7 replica. In fact, it’s not really a replica. It’s more of a continuation of the original design. It has, of course, been upgraded and developed over the years, and this, the R400 Superlight is the best of the build it yourself kits.

They can be done up so nice like you mentioned with the widebody kits. They can be tuned really nice as well. I definitely like mine stock and have no intention of doing any of that. Would like a louder supercar like exhaust I guess but its awesome as it is.

The thing is if something as small as this gets caught in post race scrutineering it reflects just as badly on the scrutineers because its small enough that its not going to have a major effect on the race but still enough to DQ a team and waste their weekend (or in this case few months) which would been just fine if the scrutineers spotted it first time. Usually an apology from the organisers is in order, since its FIA sanctioned thats probably not going to happen.

Coverage Yes this is $0 amount. This is all the expenses that I was covered for. This includes multiple tire rotations, windshield cracks, car getting towed. Everytime that I have received a bill, but my insurance has covered it. It is important to note that I would have had to pay for it if I was not insured. For example a windshield repair bill would have an amount of $125 but then a subtraction of $125 as well.

However, the quality of its upgrades and the remarkable improvements they offered over the standard vehicles ensured that, as Enzo Ferrari liked tosay, Alpina has always made “one less car than themarket demands”. Which is hardly surprising, giventhe fact that its B7 Turbo of 1978 was called “the world’s fastest sedan”, the B7 Turbo Coup of 1982 was as quick as a Porsche 911 Turbo, and the B10Bi Turbo of 1989was described bythe late and highly respected Belgian racing driver and Road Track journalist Paul Frre as “the best four door in the world”. And, returning to the subject ofFerraris, thelarge and luxurious Alpina B12 6.0 of 1999 could cover a kilometre from a standing start in just 23.6 seconds swifter than the Prancing Horse marque’scontemporary F355.

My advice would be to wait an try to score a great deal. I looked on the internet almost everyday for 3 4 months before this car popped up. It happens a decent amount at luxury dealerships, from what I understand, where a person will come in and buy the lower end 3 series and then want to upgrade a month later.

Dealership 2 I decided I would buy a Mini, despite my negative experience, but it took months for me to get to that point. I made an appointment with this dealership to test drive a vehicle. When I arrived, I was advised there were no automatics to test drive, as they were all still “wrapped up.” They had a lot full of cars, but none of them were automatics. The salesman had the gall to state I could still make a down payment on a car, even though I hadn’t test driven the one I wanted yet. I walked out as I was very upset.

“We’ve made no decision on venue, we have no firm decision on a date, but we do have a Challenger of Record,” Ellison explained. “But one thing I’d like to assure people on about the 34th America’s Cup is that there will be a completely independent jury, there will be completely independent umpires. It will be an independent group that manages the next America’s Cup and it will be a level playing field for all competitors.” And despite having won, Ellison was clearly keen to ensure that no one forgot about the two year struggle his team had undergone in its attempt to regain equilibrium, and his winner’s speech struck a chord with those who had witnessed the breakdown of the Cup.

I mean, at the end of the day there no right answer. But, I will say that the market has spoken. I could buy a Golf R and go enjoy it by myself 96% of the time. The other 3.9% of the time it just me and one passenger in front. And the other 0.1% of the time it can carry people in the back, or dogs, or anything. Mostly no one is buying a Civic Type R just because it a more practical version of a car that can carry a baby seat, lol. They buying it because it the best car for them in their class, and it just happens to have 4 doors. Just because you have the back doors doesn mean that you have to use them.

Eh I just don agree with that. They are elite at one task within a sport. Baseball is very complicated. You could have an athletic freak in centerfield and CC Sabathia on the mound. I believe that CC is top of his class at what he does. But my take is that athleticism is generally a trait that carries to multiple sports. That doesn mean you are skilled at multiple sports but the overall trait of being athletic can help you in multiple sports. A lot of baseball players are not that. They are just incredibly good at fundamentals and technique. CC Sabathia has to basically only throw a ball from point A to point B. Granted he one of the best in the world at that but outside of that what does he do in baseball that makes him an elite athlete? He an elite baseball player but not an elite athlete.
